This
12 hour course aims to provide first aid knowledge and skills
relevant for those caring for babies and young children under
the age of eight.
This
qualification is for people employed to care for children
in pre-schools, nurseries, crèches, schools, voluntary
organisations and for child minders and babysitters.
It
is also suitable for those wishing to seek employment in the
childcare sector or who are studying other full time childcare
programmes.
The
course meets Ofsted requirements and is in accordance with
the guidelines laid down by the NCMA and provides evidence
for those working towards NVQ’s in Childcare.
